Hmm...I know, let's do Saks Fifth Ave!!! Been a while since I've been there.
She seats herself in the back seat of the truck.
Been a while since I've been in a truck, too. Hmm Hmm...

Velvet giggles before they all climb in the truck. As Vel drives to their destination, a slight look of uneasyness crosses her face but she quickly regains control and strikes up a conversation to distract her mind.
So Amber, what's at Saks Fifth Ave?

I hear they have some new designer collections worth checking out, Armani, Marc Jacobs, that kind of thing. I just have to see this stuff for myself...

Mari turns back to speak as Velvet rolls uptown from Soho to Midtown Manhattan.
I have to say Amber, you certainly have some fine tastes. You don't even need to wrestle, you could be like...a fashion consultant or something! Why do you anyway?

I just kinda...fell in love with it actually. Watching the woman who trained me a few years ago. It was so liberating...she was more than just a woman, you know? More than just a pretty face...she was like a superhero, larger than life. That's what I've been striving for ever since...this make us into much more than who we really are in the eyes of the fans you know. That and it keeps me shape more than any gym, ha ha...gotta look good for the shoots!
So what about you two? Why're you in the biz?

A quick wince from Vel. Not her favorite subject to talk about.
It was more of a rebel thing for me. My family is old fashioned. Very old fashioned. They didn't think I should compete in any athletic sport so I did it anyways. Wrestling was the sport that aggravated my parents the most. Once I got through that stage I still loved wrestling and continued.

Me? Well, mi papa...God Bless his soul...was a great wrestler in my home country Columbia, so I grew up in the business. Before he passed away, I made a promise to him continue on the family tradition. Every first born in my family, mi papa and all of mi abuelos were wrestlers...it just happened that his first born, his only born...was me! So the tradition lives on, just very very differently.
Now, since the legendary store was on the illustrious stretch of NYC real estate called Fifth Ave., parking was impossible, so they rolled into a nearby parking garage and split the fee for the ticket...the clerk obviously thrown off at the sight of three vixens such as these riding in a pick-up truck. After they parked they all blew him a kiss as they hit the streets and walked the short distance from the garage to Saks.
The place was packed...as usual, but they make their way to the women's section, and the spree continues...

At this point, Amber looked like a kid in a candy store. Oh how she loved shopping.
Oh, look at this...and these...and this...oh these are nice...
She was a machine.

Vel on the other hand was not a shopping machine. That was obvious at the other store. She did some browsing, grabbing the occasional dress and outfit as she browsed through the place continueing to browse.

Dresses, skirts, shoes, handbags...it was a wonder Amber probably had a closet the size of the Taj Mahal! After getting some employees to help her cart all that stuff to check out, she had some 6 or 7 bags of merchandise before her.
Um...can you girls help me carry this stuff out? ^_^

Wow Amber...I hope you bought enough clothes for all of us.
Mari sticks her tongue at her as she grabs up a few bags.
You do look about my size...

Vel grabs her bags and a couple of Amber's bags as they head to the truck.
I guess it's a good thing that we took a truck. I don't know what we would do with all these items if we had a car.

Amber giggles like a schoolgirl.
Yeah...hee hee...good call, Vel.
They go back to the garage and hand the clerk the ticket. Amber being the girl she is gives him a peck on the cheek for his troubles. Moments later they're on the road again.
Anyone hungry? Let's ride to my place since I have the most stuff to unload, and I'll make lunch...how's that sound?

Not too far away...
She gives Velvet directions as they roll along and 15 or so minutes later they're in front of Amber's complex, still in Midtown but more towards the east overlooking Brooklyn. Together Vel and Mari help Amber lug her stuff up to her apartment.
You guys can just drop it right by the door...
Make yourselves at home! Um...what're you in the mood for?
