Amber smiles, knowing that Keith was going to do exactly what she thought he was.   Next one was a sassy little number. Very mod...a pair of those white go-go boots and she's look right out of the 60s!!! Stepping in this one she does a little playful go-go dancing herself and giggles. She heard that. Now this girl was just being bold. If it wasn't a friend of Keith's...and if it wasn't his money being spent here, she'd have probably kicked her already. It looked like it was time to press the issue though.
Thanks honey, kind of you to notice...but I look good in anything I touch, and you can ask Keithy here and he'll tell you that I look just as good in NOTHING, isn't that right sweetie?
She gives off her signature grin as she steps back in to try something else on...

Syd was pissed, the look on her face and the tone in her voice gave it away.

She heard that too. Did he mean to say it aloud? She gasped a bit, and from the other side of that door, was blushing a whole lot. Her head was spinning. Innocent fun it was at first, but she herself was wondering if she was beginning to fall for him. It would seem that vice versa would be already in effect. She was speechless at that moment. All Amber could do was keep going...or could she? She got back into her clothes and grabbed up all the things she brought in, she pretty much knew she could fit in them anyway. Stepping out of the dressing room, she looks at Keith and says...
I think I'll take all of this stuff, no need to try EVERYTHING on. Um...can we check out?

Keith said, not knowing that she heard his confession, took the clothes and walked over to the register. The cashier rung up everything, it came up to about three grand, Keith paid and he and Amber walked out the store with a visibly pissed off Sydney looking on.
The car pulled out of the parking lot and was back on the road. Keith looked over at Amber...
"Amber you okay?"

The cat didn't have Amber's tongue, it was crawling down her throat. He didn't know that she heard what he said...and she didn't know what to say about it. It's not like he wasn't sweet and generous and an all-around great guy. She told herself she was going to take it slow, not get attached. That worked well... Um...yeah. I'm fine sweetie! She smiles and pats his leg. Just...had to get out of there before I killed your friend. Didn't want you to have to play ref. There was some truth to that, good excuse.  |

Keith says as he still senses that she was partially lying, she couldn't have been lying about wanting to kick Syd's ass, truth be told he wouldn't have stopped that ass-kicking she deserved it...
"You know what let's stop over here in the park, get some fresh air"
Keith stopped in the park, letting Amber out they began to walk when he looked over to Amber with a smirk....
"Amber do you know how to the penguin walk?"

"Now all you have to match my steps with yours, ready left, right "
Keith says as he begins to walk, Amber easily matches his steps so Keith decides to mess with her so he begins to tickle her while she walking...

He really did know how to lighten the mood. It was true, she was falling for him. Something about him, the way he carried himself, the way he spoiled her, the way he CARED about her (his own words), was slowly making Amber melt in those muscular arms.
Hee Hee...I wouldn't walk like a penguin everyday, but I like doing it with you.
