*kimberly exits the elevator of the hotel the XWA superstars were staying, a yawn fell over her lips as she walked to the restaurant in the hotel and order something to eat*
first day on the XWA roster...
*she told herself as she sat there*
hmmmm but what should i do first...go see the higher ups to make sure everything is in order?...or maybe start some shit with people backstage...or maybe have a wild affair with a guy...
*she laughs to herself and ordering a pizza and a bottle of pepsi, her green eyes looked over the restaurant, it was very likely she would not be noticed since she just signed with XWA..her food was brought over to her and she thanked the man and started eating when the chair across from her slid back and....*
open to anyone

He takes his first bite of his slice, pretty good for it not being pizza from Brooklyn-the best outside of Italy. Pleased to meet you, Kimberly. So...Toronto, huh? I was there for about...a day a couple of month or so. It's a nice place from what I seen. Charlotte is a looooooong way from there, though. What're you...on business, or vacation?

Just signed you say? That makes us co-workers then...just don't ask to borrow my stapler.
He chuckles as he takes another bite.
You don't have to be all champagne and caviar in the wrestling biz though, Kimberly. Just look at the Diamond Champ right now. She's the regular girl next door type...certainly not in it for the glitz and the glamour, you know?
You gotta do what you feel. if this is you're kinda thing...don't change it just because you have a bigger bank account now.

Nope. Makes perfect sense to me. You gotta have the love for this...without that, you're just going through the motions. I met a lot of people over the years who're in it for all the wrong reasons. Power, money, personal glory. I just go out and do my thing...give 'em 110% and leave it all in the ring.
People can say whatever the hell they want to about what it is that I might do off camera-in fact, I enjoy the attention-but nobody can deny the fact that I bleed for this business. It's just who I am.
I think of it like this...when you take away all of the flash and the merchandising and the so-called glory that you say you have...what is it that you're left with? That's what you have to go back to each and every time...that very first day that you decided to become a part of this business. For some, that day they were just loud mouths who thought they were something special right off the bat. For guys like me, that day we were looking to make a name for ourselves, getting involved in whatever we could, and gaining as much experience from as many people as possible.
Another bite of the slice....
Sorry if I'm lecturing...

*she was hooked on every word*
oh its okay...i agree with you...whole heartedly im not in this for money...i wrestled a show just to have enough to get to my next show...this is what i love and enjoy...yes its good having money and having fans...but even if XWA didnt want me...id still be wrestling...weither it be in a arena..or outside...it wont matter
*she blinks*
sorry it seems like im ranting...

Ranting? Oh no, no, no, Kim! That's about as real as anything I've heard come from anyone's mouth in a long time. Can't tell you how good it is to know that there are still people who're out for this business and not out for themselves.
Honestly, I was starting to lose faith in all after what happened earlier this year up in New York-trust me you really don't wanna know the gory details. A lifetime contract I signed, null and void because of a bunch of babies who think they did some kind of damage by ranting and raving all the time. If I were the boss I'd have closed up shop as well, rather than running a day care center for another year.
That's the point I'm making...once you let it get to your head, you're never going to amount to anything thing in this business, Kim. Nobody is bigger than the business. As high as I might have gotten in my career, that's the one thing that was beat into my head the moment I set foot in a ring. The business is everything...the workers in the back, the fans in the seats...all of that is what makes this great, not just one or two people who think they've done something great.
You seem like you have it all together though, Kimberly. I think that you're going to do just fine here.

one can only hope so...
*she smiled softly*
lets hope that i can live up to how i think i am....we will see...sooner or later...we will see...
*she looks at her watch and sighed*
im gonna head to the arena...wanna come with?
*she asked standing up reaching for her car keys*
