 Wow. I had my appendix removed within the last year and didn't have a scar look like that (at the belly button, since that's where they went in from). And my knees have already under went that and I'm back wrestling now.  All they did was stick a needle in the side of my knee and suck the built up fluid out. I was awake through the whole thing. Didn't take but like 5 minutes in all. That's not counting the doctor talking for like 40 minutes though. Also, for the heating pad, are you putting the pad against your skin, or it skin - shirt - pad against the shirt? Heating pad set on high shouldn't be set against the skin by any means, always have a fabric between the pad and your skin. ^_^ Course, I don't know what type of heating pad you got, so, maybe the shirt/fabric between the pad and skin wont help lol |

I've had 3 layers of clothing between my skin and the heating pad.

3 layers of clothing and still in need of a heating pad? God fucking damn. How cold IS it up there? It only gets down to about 39 here at night.
