[Loki Alverton]

After he finished his meeting with Mr. Steele, Loki decided that instead of leaving the building he would grab something to eat. As he walked into the lounge, Loki saw many people conversing, he then spotted an open table and walked over to it, then took off his trench coat and sat down. As he continued to get himself situated, a waiter walked over to his table with pen and paper in hand ready to take his food order.

Good afternoon sir and welcome to the XWA Lounge. What can I get for you today?

Loki looked at the waiter for a moment. Not having a chance to actually look at the menu, Loki in his normal fashion just ordered what he was hungry for.

I will have a stuffed pheasant under glass with a glass of your finest white wine.

The waiter stopped writing the order after a moment

I’m sorry sir, but we don’t have stuffed pheasant under glass.

After the waiter made this comment, Loki turned his head in confusion. He had never been told that he couldn’t have something he wanted before that this perplexed him.

What do you mean “You don’t have stuffed pheasant”? What type of eating establishment is this? If you don’t have pheasant, what DO you have?

The waiter keeping extremely calm in this situation advised Loki of the menu.

Everything we serve is right here in the menu sir. Today’s specials are a grilled turkey and avocado sandwich with a side of New England Clam Chowder, or we have a T-Bone steak with our world famous steak sauce and a side salad with your choice of dressing. Both come with an additional side of cole slaw, mashed potatoes or a freshly baked dinner roll.

Loki looked over the menu for a moment, still visibly frustrated that he couldn’t have pheasant. After a few moments he threw the menu on the table.

Just give me the grilled turkey sandwich that you mentioned earlier and be quick about it.

The waiter took the order and rushed off to get the order in. As the waiter was leaving the table in a rush, Loki yelled to him.

And do not forget my wine.

Loki then rolled his eyes and thought to himself I cannot believe that to fulfill my desire to be a professional wrestler I have to subject myself to these cretins. I just hope that they do not start to rub off on me and I become as brainless as they. What would everyone at the yacht club say?

Just then Loki’s thoughts were interrupted by someone standing at his table.

[sylvester]

*Syl was standing there with his trademark pink fur coat, he had entered from the cold streets, he removed his coat he put it on the hanger, and flamboyantly sat on a table next to Loki, a waiter comes to serve him*

What will you be ordering sir?

Oh please don't call me sir, it's so militar.. Yes Sir! Hahaha. Call me Syl please

Allright what will you be ordering... Syl?

Look sugar, you bring me a grilled turkey with avocado sandwich and please I want the turkey not too made, I can't stand that BBQ type meat, burnt outside raw inside, it's like dating one of this german tourists that come to Miami, haha ;D

Allright Syl, I'll be getting your turkey real fast.

With those abdominals I wouldn't be amazed

*Syl takes a little mirror from his pocket and he starts checking his make up, in real quick time he gets served his dishes, Syl then starts eating very politely, when he is done he asks for the bill*

Sorry kid, but I didn't know your name what is it?

Bernard.

Well Bernie, this is for the food

Syl then takes out a 100 $ banknote and stuffs it on Bernard's pocket

*Syl then goes to get his coat, however as he rises his arms to get it from the clothes hanger his fan falls on Loki's table, Syl polite he is, grabs it and apologizes*

Oh I am truly sorry to have bothered your meal, may I do something to fix this mishap?

*Syl then sits in front of Loki, waiting for his answer*

Just as Loki was about to try the “cole slaw” as it was called by the waiter, something from behind him fell into it making it come out of the bowl and partially into his lap. Loki began to get slightly more frustrated.

What in the bloody hell? Can one not just get something to eat without a commotion be made of it?

As he grabbed for a napkin to clean off his pants, he heard a voice asking if there was anything that could be done to assist him. Not looking at who spoke to him, Loki answered as he grabbed more napkins.

Unless you know of a dining establishment where something like this would not happen, I do not think you will be much help to me.

Loki then turned to see who he was speaking to and noticed Sylvester. Loki was a bit taken back by the appearance of Sylvester and didn’t know what to make of him.

A bit early in the day to be getting ready for a Broadway show, is it not? Are you trying to stay in character for your role?

Obviously confused by Sylvester, Loki waits for a response

[sylvester]

*Syl giggles and gives Loki the typical gay "come on" gesture*

Hahaha, no dear, I go dressed like this all days 24/7 I like feeling alive everyday and I like looking scandalously gorgeous

*Syl then pics up his fan from Loki's lap, touching it a lot.*

You have great physique, I bet you are one of this new XWA signees, so am I, I come from an all-male gym where we have mirrors everywhere.... Even in the showers.

*Syl unfolds his fan and he starts giving himself air*

They have such a hot temperature here, anyways I am sorry for ruining your coleslaw, but if you want I can tell you a list of all the restaurants I go to. They have really good food, and the waiters... are wow, great service.

*While Syl keeps giving air to himself Loki can watch the rings in his hands, plenty of them with the ♂♂ sign, that pretty reveals much of which tree Syl swings with *

*Syl keeps giving air to himself waiting for Loki to add something in the conversation*

Loki looks at Sylvester with a raised eyebrow. Why would someone in their right mind dress like that on purpose? he thought to himself. And what kind of gym would have mirrors in the shower? That to me just doesn’t seem right. He then speaks to Sylvester.

Yes, I have just finished a meeting with Mr. Steele and decided to get some nourishment before I returned to Massachusetts to prepare for the upcoming XWA tour. I have to make sure all the servants know to keep the mansion in tip top shape while I am away. As for the food, it is of no concern to me. I have seen swine eat things that is more appetizing that this. For the life of me I could never understand what people see in this type of “common food”.

Loki lowers his fork, wipes his mouth with a napkin, and takes a large drink of his wine to try and get the taste of the cole slaw washed away from his palette. he then realizes that he doesn't know the name of the... person he is speaking to.

I apologize, how rather rude of me. My name is Loki. Loki Alverton, previous owner of Alverton Conglomerate, heir to the Alverton estate. And you might be?

He extends his right hand and then waits for Sylvester to respond.

[sylvester]

*Syl shakes his fancy hand with Loki*

My name is Sylvester but please call me Syl it's shorter and way easier to remember, I was born in Albany, went to West Hollywood, CA, met lots of interesting people there, but my old New York feelings where giving me a hard time so I decided to go back where I started.

*Syl then leans on his chair as he checks out the coleslaw*

I usually don't spend my money on this kind of restaurants, I am a man of exquisite taste, exquisite clothes and I like enjoying the finest in life.

*Syl kept giving air to himself as he waved his hair too*

So your name is Loki Alverton I read some about the Alverton conglomerate in a men's magazine, I can't believe someone who is rich and has his life solved would enter such a sport as wrestling.

If my trainer Lance didn't said: Oh Syl you look fabolous in the ring, you'll leave everyone with their mouth wide open, and you'll make so many friends. I'd probably be working my old job and passion. Hairdressing, oh dear I love hairdressing and stylizing guys.

After Sylvester’s comment about his former family business, Loki smirked. Sylvester was not the first person to say the same thing to Loki since he made this decision.

Well Syl, after you have lived the life I have, you realize that there is nothing that you cannot have as long as you have the means to obtain it. I have had my most wildest fantasies come true, and all due to the fact that I have the charm, the intellect and most importantly the money. Anything from fast cars to fast women have been mine at the snap of my fingers. I have trophies for lacrosse, fencing and a myriad of other sports, but the one thing I don’t have that I have always wanted since I was the age of 16 is to have a championship title in the most premier wrestling federation in the world. So to the XWA I have come to achieve just that, whether I have to defeat the new champion Xander Xavier Luther, or if I have to overcome Bryan Jasta for his National Title, it does not make a difference to me. Some people misconstrue my confidence for arrogance, but make no mistake I am as good as I say I am, and when I debut, everyone will see the greatness that I possess.

Loki smiles at himself, rather happy with the small speech he just gave. He waits for Syl to reply.

[sylvester]

*Syl smirks at those declarations*

Interesting, very interesting, well I do like living large but I do have to work to get it, and well as I said I decided to become a wrestler because it's a sport where you get physical, really physical. And when I was about to sign for an indy federation I received a call from Gallas and he said:

"You are the man we need to appeal the new audiences, we already have Christina Dixon attracting the female sector of that audience, now we need someone who attracts the male sector. You are our man"

And well seeing all the reputation XWA has, I signed without thinking twice, they said maybe some people doesn't like my style but I don't care I think myself I look as fashionable and fabolous as I have ever looked.

*Syl pumps his hair and stands up showing Loki his great fashion sense*

You don't look bad either. So you want to defeat Jasta, or XXL, those are good competitors, when I trained in wrestling we usually watched tapes of those guys, and wow, they look splendid and wrestle awesome.

And do you happen to know someone in XWA? I just know Christina because I met her in West Hollywood. Trust me having a guiding light in XWA can be useful.

No, I do not know anyone here, however after watching some of the matches there are guys that I have respect for, like Scott O’Dell and Robby Sylk. Men of that kind of caliber and pedigree are cut from the same cloth as I. Men who will do what it takes to reach the top of the mountain with no concern of the repercussions, they reach out and take what they want which is the reason they have been so successful. People hate them for being who they are and not folding to make others happy. I have respect for that type of character. The two of them would indeed make shrewd business men and powerful allies in this or any business venture.

Loki then takes the last sip of his wine and motions to the waiter to bring him another glass. He then folds his hands together and places them on the table and looks at Sylvester.

So tell me Syl, what are your goals and ambitions here? What do you hope to accomplish?

[sylvester]

*Syl thought of that question, he wasn't a fan of O'Dell or Sylk, he thought they weren't guys that should be trusted, but Syl was inexperienced and as his sexual preferences are very detectable, his professional thoughts where more closed.*

My goals, well, I am not ambitous, the Rookie of the year 2009 would be a good goal, and if I win some title, better than ever. Titles are really cool and I think I can achieve some, my trainer said I was the very best from his promotion, I have some good submissions and some good moves. What I hope is that I don't find some kind of lousy homophobe who says that I am not deserving of the spot or that I shouldn't be wrestling

*Syl then reveals something vital*

By the way in case you didn't noticed... I'm gay, I think that's why Gallas chose me, they already have a lesbian in XWA ;D the odd couple you may say. But I am a very professional man, while I dress this way, don't worry I won't slap your ass when you stand up, I know what asses I can slap and what none

I think I made the wise decision signing with XWA, is where the cream of the cream is. Why should I be in an indy fed? No disrespect to them, but quite frankly XWA gives you bigger opportunities than indy efeds.

There are bigger fishes to fry. And Loki are you a rookie? I have amateur background, but I have never wrestled in the professional circle. Aaah I wish we were in March already so we could start the competition.

I have wrestled semi professionally years ago in a few different countries, and I was ready to start my American professional career when I turned 19, however due to an accident that took both my parent’s lives I had to put that on hold to run the family business, which just like everything else I get myself involved with I turned into proverbial gold.

The waiter returns with a new glass for wine for Loki. After the waiter puts the glass on the table, Loki waives his hand to tell the waiter to leave, he then returns to speaking to Sylvester.

Even though I was not able to step foot into a ring in the states until now, that does not mean that I have not kept training for my dream. Having a home as large as mine offers the opportunity to have a full size wrestling ring to be constructed and with my infinite wealth I have the ability to have the world’s best wrestlers come to train me. It is definitely better than having to go to the underground gyms with the commoners and the riff raff that gentlemen with our obvious taste for the finer things in life should stray away from. Am I correct?

Loki gets a smug smile on his face as he sits back and takes a sip of his wine and waits for Sylvester to reply to him.

*Syl chuckles, he wasn't a smug man, he liked getting along with everyone*

Being trained by the best always brings you extra-confidence, I guess. One of my wishes was being trained by Harley Race, but I had no money my dad didn't supported at all that I wanted to drop my hairdresser career for wrestling, but I am a young man, and if I fail I can go back to the hair scissors whenever I want.

*Syl leans back in the chair in a very femenine pose*

Althought I don't share bad memories from my gym, I'd have wished for having the best trainers like you, don't get me wrong I am not poor, but having my lifestyle without a job, puts you on a tight budget, that's what I hope with XWA, that I can live the same life that I had when I was hairdresser.

But since you are a rich man, what will you do with the salary? No offense, but since you said you were a man who with the snap of his fingers got what he wanted, I suppose money is kinda meaningless to you, since you are the son of an empire.

Loki hadn’t thought about the monetary portion of his contract. Being from such a rich family, money to him was as expendable as a glass of water to a fish. He thought about Syl’s question for a moment, rubbing his fingers over his chin.

That is a quite intriguing question. I guess I would just do what I normally do with any expendable income, put half of it into stocks and bonds and the other half will be divided between and transferred into my private Swiss account and my account in the Camden Islands. I mean it’s never too early to start saving for your future, right?

Loki smiled at his joke. Being the only child for a wealthy family definitely had some advantages like access to some of the most famous banking institutions.

Maybe possibly someday purchase the XWA or another federation and hand pick the kind of talent that I want to see, instead of having to share a locker room with the likes of some of the people who are contracted here, like that insufferable Chet Dixon. An absolute buffoon if I ever saw one, however for some reason the people who make the decisions allow him to stay employed. I guarantee that if I were the one signing the paychecks, he would no longer be receiving one.

Loki looks at Sylvester for a moment then gets a devilish grin on his face.

If you were the boss, who would you fire? While I understand that neither of us have had any actual interaction with anyone else, you must have watched these combatants on the television and I am will to bet my first paycheck that there is someone that you would like to see no longer employed, so who would that be?

Just as mischievous as the mythical being that his name was based on, Loki waited for a response from Sylvester.

[sylvester]

*Syl started thinking, he knew Chet Dixon aswell as her sister. However he had to answer something to Loki*

I wouldn't fire Chet, while his antics might be irritating atleast he provides easy victories for starters like us, I know we must look for competitive opponents, but getting an easy victory sometimes it's good, thus I know his sister and she wouldn't like that, and she'd probably walk out and we'd get all the Dixons out of XWA.

But who I would really fire and I'd think nobody would care is MG. Quite frankly he does nothing but bring gangsters to XWA, he kills people, he mugs people, he takes drugs in front of other people and with no consequence whatsoever. I say fire that guy before he turns XWA into some hood.

He has no class whatsoever, and that guy really disgusts me, he treats black people like me like "brothers" That's the guy I would fire.

The duo of Big-G & Hoodlum enter the cafe, and immediate start turning heads. Lord knows people like "them" make people nervous. Fresh off meeting with some of XWA's legal staff about rectifying some "stuff" the boys were hungry. But as they enter, they spot two other apparent new comers.
